I found and watched The Beach tonight. Which is a movie I actually liken to Fight Club. Yeah, Travis. But it does the same thing for me. Namely, makes me feel like I'm not doing what I want to be doing. I want to be living so hard that I colapse into normalcy and find it comfortable. I need to contrast my life now with one so diffrent from this that this seems foreign. I need to make sure I'm not missing anything before I get old and loose my life. I mean my animus, not my actual living. I mean my spirit and my lust to see what there is. I'm gonna have to travel. Throw myself out of my life and loose all the comfort it has. Combine Fight Club and the Beach and American Beauty to a degree. To loose everything. For a bit. To find myself or maybe a variation of me.
Fuck you guys, I know how rediculously pretensious this is. I just don't care, because I feel really sereous about it just now. Hell, even I'll laugh at this in the morning but it's awesome that film can do this to me. I love feeling so strongly, even about something this silly.
I wanna be in love, man. Like this. That would be great.
One day.

As for the rest, as long as your motivated to change, I'd say it's not pretentious.

Oh, I can't come out and play today, since I'm spending sometime with my dad. But I'm off again tomorrow, so we should chill then.
